Self Awareness Center
Our Roots
Longtime Evansville-area residents may recognize the Self Awareness Center name. The original Center was founded in the 1970s and was located in downtown Evansville. It offered yoga and meditation as well as other self-discovery classes and leading-edge workshops. In the 1980s, the Center moved to a space in Town Center Mall on Diamond Avenue. Susan offered several classes there and participated in many of the Center’s activities. Sadly, the Center ceased to exist in 1997.
Around the same time, Susan was working in Corporate America, which she did for over 30 years. After leaving that world, she returned to her passion of holistic health and assisting others with similar goals. Leaders in the wellness and metaphysical domains whose teachings Susan has followed include Robert Monroe/Monroe Institute (developer of Hemi-Sync), Patricia Cota-Robles, Konstantin Korotkov, PhD (inventor of the Bio-Well), Suzanne Giesemann, Lorna Byrne, Sophy Burnham, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Gregg Braden.
Susan is a Gaia Healers Certified Bio-Well Practitioner. She is excited to re-establish the name and intention of the original Self Awareness Center.
